How to Set Time
Method 1:
Step 1: Press the switch, it begins to kinescope as soon as being turned on. The blue light will turn on during kinescoping.
Step 2: Press the switch again, it will begin to save data and then turn off. At this time, the light will turn to yellow, reflect that the pen DVR is at sleeping status (that means don't kinescope or shut down either).
Step 3: If needed to kinescope again, press the switch once more, then it can come back to kinescope. During this time, the light will turn blue again.
Step 4: Hold down the switch for 5s, then the power switch is off. After shutting down the pen VR, there is no guide light.
Step 5: When finished with charging battery, the light will stop glittering and the yellow light will be kept on. This means that the battery is fully charged.
Step 6: It will turn off by itself when the battery has been used up. The kinescoped files will be saved before shutting down.
Method 2:
Step 1 Open Notepad and create a file using this format: 2008-06-12 14:20:30 (Enter your current date & time)
Step 2 Save the file to desktop as the name "userconfig". This file will be in .txt format.
Step 3 Connect pen to your computer.
Step 4 Open the drive assigned to your pen.
Step 5 Copy the text file from your desktop and paste it into the drive that you opened.
Step 6 Exit the drive.
*Attention:
Do not switch "RESET" button when the machine is recording, otherwise the data will not be saved.
